Nyambura Njagi, M.S. is the Founder and CEO of Vizurii GIS Data Analytics, LLC a GIS & geospatial analytics consulting company based in Augusta, GA.

Nyambura has 10 years’ data science experience holding a Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master of Science in Geospatial Surveying Engineering from Texas A&M University @ Corpus Christi. Throughout her scholastic tenure, Nyambura held numerous internships including at the HARTE Research Institute’s Coastal & Marine Geospatial Laboratory sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Northern Gulf Institute (NGI) to reclassify aquatic habitat data. As a GIS Viewshed Technician Intern for the National Park Service at Manassas National Battlefield Park, she conducted geospatial and raster data processing for viewshed analysis. The internship was supported by the Geological Society of America’s Mosaics in Science program.

In 2016, Nyambura began working professionally as a GIS Analyst using GIS to provide outstanding customer service and to support organizational objectives. Nyambura uses a variety of spatial and non-spatial data including raster, vector and LIDAR as well as a range of GIS, remote sensing and statistical software and models to provide insight and support for businesses in today’s continually shifting, socio-economic environment.

Nyambura was born and raised in south Georgia to a Kenyan-born father and a mother born in Fitzgerald, Georgia. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and has many unique experiences in study and travel all over the world including Argentina, Botswana, South Africa, Hungary and France – which essentially means she likes porridge and grits! … iced tea and English hot tea with milk, appreciates a burger or githeri and loves an

empañada as much as a samosa!

In 2019, Nyambura founded Vizurii GIS Data Analytics, LLC to work on project-based data solutions directly with clients. Vizurii was founded on the values of integrity and excellence in service.
